The sad part is the fact that EA actually did great games based on the Harry Potter books. But in a bid, Warner can outbid EA with a lot more, as they can afford. Warner can't publish or modify the games developed by EA from the time when EA had the license and EA would probably won't give those to Warner anyway, as the games were developed with EA owned soft and tech. They can't remaster them, remake them or make compatibility patches, so those games would work on modern hardware and operating systems. EA can't sell the games that they've developed as they don't have the right to do so. They are the only ones that can make new HP games. EA lost the license and currently the license is with Warner. Now my question is: The Harry Potter fan base is still huge and I think that the community would not be averse to a remake of the first parts / an HD version. The same applies to the parts 2 and 3, which in terms of quality once again put on it. The first part of the Harry Potter games is now over 17 years old and was a great game back then.
